The grand final of the Coastal and LJ Hooker Leagues are confirmed.
Lennox Head will play Byron Bay in the Coastal League while Cudgen are set for a showdown against Goonellabah in the LJ Hooker competition.
All teams had to fight hard for their spot on Saturday with the greatest action over at Megan Crescent Oval.
Lennox Head Pirates fought back against a tough Tintenbar-East Ballina side who had them on the ropes.
At the first drinks break, The Bar tore through the top and middle order of the Pirates, bowling out their last six batsman for a total of six runs.
However, Brenton Gay took five wickets to steamroll Tintenbar-East Ballina to claim victory and set up a long-awaited final against Byron Bay.
Byron’s match against Cudgen in the LJ Hooker League was headlined by classic catches and lunges for the stumps.
A Caleb Ziebell classic helped Cudgen over the line alongside Alec Williams who put up a total of 160 runs between them to chase Goonellabah down.
