A home in one of East Lismore’s best streets has sold for almost $1 million.
The house, plus studio, at 30 Avondale Ave was built in the 1930s and last sold in 2009 for $352,000, according to CoreLogic.
But on June 2, Vicki Heathwood from LJ Hooker Alstonville sold the property sold for $960,000.
In her online listing about the property, she described it as the “perfect blend of classical charm and modern practicality ... framed by a cottage picket fence, landscaped with gardens and flowering shrubs, winding paved pathway and old-world gardens”.
The main residence has three bedrooms, with built-in robes and fans. The master bedroom has an ensuite and walk-in robe.
