TOOWOOMBA South MP David Janetzki is moving his electorate office, with a new tender revealing its location inside a major new development.
QTender documents were released this week for the fit-out of the new office, which looks set to be situated inside the new South Central tower at the Bernoth Centre on the intersection of Ruthven and Perth Sts.
Mr Janetzki's current state electorate office is opposite Toowoomba City Hall on Ruthven St.
"Queensland Parliamentary Services is seeking proposals for the fit-out of the Toowoomba South electorate office, located at 677-683 Ruthven St, Toowoomba," the tender release said.
"The fit-out includes the provision of a secure waiting room, meeting room, office spaces, storeroom, kitchenette, and PWD compliant toilet."
The South Central residential tower has finished construction, with the development featuring 25 units, office space, a Stellarossa cafe and Snap Fitness on the lower floors.
LJ Hooker, which is also moving into the development in June revealed a number of the units were already sold or leased.
