OWNER-occupiers and investors are circling the former site of ANZ Bank in the Toowoomba CBD, which hit the market this month.
Burgess Rawson listed the two-storey building on Ruthven St for sale as part of an expressions of interest campaign.
At more than 1000sq m, the property has been vacant since ANZ moved out after its lease ended last year.
Lead agent Craig Chapman said the property was already attracting interest from several different buyer types.
“We’re getting inquiries from both owner-occupiers or local investors. They might even know someone based in Toowoomba who could go in there,” he said.
“I think it’s open to people who can see the potential. If someone can come in with a fresh aspect, that would work.
“We’ve even had people looking at it for serviced apartments, so it could go either way.”
The site comes with 12 off-street car parks and two vacant tenancies, for office and retail space.
The expressions of interest campaign ends on November 5 at 4pm.
