A COUNTRY retreat and function centre with incredible natural views in the northern Toowoomba region has hit the market.

Tweeters Country Getaway, based on nearly 30 hectares on the New England Highway north of Crows Nest, has been listed for sale through Ray White Toowoomba for $1.3 million.

The site is used for farmstays, corporate retreats, family reunions and even weddings for up to 120 people.

While it features the proper infrastructure to host people, Ray White's Mark Wynhoven said the real drawcard for potential buyers was the property's amazing natural scenery.

"It looks over the most amazing gorge you've ever seen in your life," he said.

"They've got tracks for hiking - you can trek down into the gorge.

"We haven't really been able to take a photograph that shows how impressive it is, but it just has to be seen."

The Tweeters Country Farmstay has hit the market for $1.3 million.

Mr Wynhoven said the farm house itself could host about 16 people, there was plenty of expansion opportunities.

"For someone to retire and slow down here, where there are mountains of fresh air, it's really and amazing place to take that step back and then host the occasional events," he said.

"The infrastructure that's there caters for 16-18 people, but to have caravan camping options is where your opportunity lies.

"You could have an event of 100 people, so that's where there are bigger opportunities if you wanted."

Mr Wynhoven said the surrounding northern Toowoomba region featured plenty of tourist attractions.
