A MAN accused of killing Booral father Lee Price overnight has had his charges read out in court.
Craig Anthony Leahey is charged with murder, common assault and producing and supplying dangerous drugs.
He did not appear in court in person and his case was adjourned until December.
UPDATE: A man has been charged with murder, common assault and drug related offences after a 57-year-old man died at Booral overnight.
The 54-year-old Torquay man has been charged with one count each of murder, common assault, producing dangerous drugs, supplying dangerous drugs and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
He is due to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court this afternoon.
A 46-year-old Point Vernon man has also been charged with producing dangerous drugs and is due to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on October 8.
EARLIER: A 57-year-old man has died in suspicious circumstances at Booral overnight.
Police said at about 9.30pm the man was at a residence in at Booral when other two men attended the house.
The men were all known to each other.
They had an altercation during which the man received serious head injuries and died at the scene.
Police later located the two men at a Torquay residence, and they are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
