Two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, have been charged after allegedly making threats while being armed with a golf club and machete at Casino.
They fronted a Children’s Court on Saturday after both being charged with using an offensive weapon in company with the intention of committing an indictable offence, affray and hindering/resisting a police officer.
Officers from the Richmond Police District and a dog unit were called to a Casino home about 5:15pm on Friday.
Police were told two teenage boys allegedly armed with a golf club and machete had made threats.
Officers began investigating and attended another Casino property where the teenagers were spotted and allegedly tried to escape police.
The teenagers were arrested and taken to Casino Police Station as a large crowd gathered at the property.
The pair were given conditional bail and will return to a Children's Court on August 16.
