The truck crashed into a stairwell at the school.

The school has been abandoned since the 2022 floods and no children were present.

The driver in his 40s suffered a minor leg injury in the crash.

It is understood the driver hit a parked car on Wilson St, writing it off, before careening into the school.

The impact shook local homes.

More information has been sought from NSW Police.
