Police allege a North Coast drug dealer has been busted with a haul of unregistered guns.
Richmond Police revealed officers raided a property in the “western sector” of the district.
A 60-year-old man was arrested on charges including break-and-enter and taken to Casino Police Station, but officers were forced to abandon the arrest for “medical reasons”.
Police state the search on Wednesday uncovered “a quantity of prohibited drugs, property alleged to have been stolen and unregistered firearms”, which were seized.
The man has been charged with entering a building or land intending to commit an indictable offence, receiving and disposing of stolen property, supplying a prohibited drug, possessing unauthorised and unregistered guns and not storing a firearm safely.
He was released to face Casino Local Court on June 20.
