Man caught allegedly breaking into cars at Casino charged with stealing
The 29-year-old alleged thief led police on a dramatic foot chase before they arrested him and charged him with stealing in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Police have caught and charged a man who was allegedly trying to break into cars around Casino overnight.
According to reports from Richmond Police District, about 3am on Wednesday morning, Police attached to Casino General Duties responded to calls from members of the public in relation to an alleged offender attempting to break into motor vehicles in Johnson Street, Casino.
A 29-year-old man was subsequently arrested after a short foot pursuit with police.
He was taken to Casino Police Station where he was charged with stealing from a car, goods in custody suspected to be stolen, custody of a knife in a public place, resisting a police officer in the execution of duty, committing an offence with a previous conviction.
The man was also given an execution of an arrest warrant for an unrelated matter.
The man was bail refused and will appear before Lismore Local Court later on Wednesday.
