A Lismore man charged with an alleged break and enter into an Uralba St address while armed with a knife will remain in custody.
Nigel Willacy, 24, was refused bail when he faced charges of breaking and entering with intent to steal and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Officers responded to reports of a break and enter occurring on Uralba St about 11pm on Thursday, December 29.
Police will allege they saw Willacy running from the scene, finding him on Laurel Ave in possession of a knife.
Willacy was arrested without incident and taken to Lismore Police Station.
He is to appear before Lismore Local Court via audio visual link on January 9.
