A Bangalow man caught with a shed full of cocaine and other drugs will soon learn his fate, a Lismore court heard.

Jared Nicholas Bale, 45, is charged with eight counts of supplying a drug, three counts of possessing a prohibited drug, a charge of dealing with the proceeds of crime and one of possessing or attempting to possess a prescribed restricted substance.

Seven counts of possess a prohibited drug will also be considered as back up charges.

On Monday, Bale did not appear in person or via audiovisual link before Lismore District Court.

He had previously pleaded guilty in Tweed Heads Local Court in October to the 13 charges.

Judge Warwick Hunt heard the matter was ready to proceed to sentence.

According to court documents, police were conducting surveillance at a shed on Byron St in Bangalow on October 28, 2020, after receiving information someone was supplying drugs from the shed’s back access on Deacon Street.

Police watched as Bale walked back and forth from the shed to a white Mercedes van parked on Station Street.

A search was then conducted where they found 0.59g of cocaine in an empty diazepam box and a number of small resealable bags which Bale told police were for Chinese herbs.

A small amount of marijuana was found along with 4.3g of cannabis oil and a black bum bag with $3810 in cash.

Police next searched the shed where they located $5550 in cash, 280.2g of cocaine with 81 per cent purity and another 19.1g in five plastic bags.

A further 375.2g of cocaine was located in a glass bottle with less than 1 per cent purity.

Police further located 56.1g of MDMA, 50 diazepam tablets, a 230.3g block of tetrahydrocannabinol, 0.53g of DMT, more than 400g of marijuana, 4.4g of dexamphetamine and 7g of opium.

Police also found digital scales with calibration weights, two computers, two phones and a sheet with 16 names and numbers and a second sheet which appeared to be a price list.

Further personal documents identifying Bale were also located at the shed.

Defence solicitor John Weller told the court on Monday he expected the sentence would last 40 minutes as he had a psychologist and sentencing report ready upon sentence.

The matter was adjourned until March 14, 2022 before Lismore District Court.
