Jake William Saville refused bail for allegedly stealing from Lismore businesses
The 27-year-old is accused of stealing more than $4000 worth of stock from Lismore businesses, including $1700 worth of perfume, mobile phones and cigarettes.

A Northern Rivers man accused of a series of offences across Lismore has been refused bail.
Horseshoe Creek resident Jake William Saville, 27, fronted Lismore Local Court on Wednesday, July 28.
He has numerous charges to his name including two counts of shoplifting, taking a conveyance for fraud purpose without consent, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a knife in a public place, having property reasonably suspected to be stolen, two counts of larceny, attempt to stalk/ intimidate with intent to cause fear and two counts of entering a building with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is yet to enter any pleas for the charges.
According to court documents, the shoplifting and larceny charges relate to four separate dates.
On June 4, Mr Saville allegedly stole 14 fragrances from Priceline pharmacy Lismore, to the value of $1728.
Six days later, on June 10, Mr Saville allegedly struck Coles Lismore and stole $2811 worth of cigarettes and mobiles.
Then again, on June 14, Mr Saville allegedly stole $200 worth of mobile phone property from Woolworths Lismore.
Most recently, Mr Saville was charged with allegedly stealing $150 worth of items from Megachoice Discount store on July 24.
The court heard Mr Saville hoped to be granted bail to be there for the impending birth of his third child, according to his solicitor Natasha Wood.
However, Magistrate Jeff Linden held some doubts about the efficiencies of bail due to Mr Saville’s “ongoing offending behaviour”.
Given that, Mr Saville’s bail request was refused.
He will face Lismore Local Court sentence on September 17 for charges of shoplifting, taking a conveyance for fraud purpose without consent, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a knife in a public place and having property reasonably suspected to be stolen.
On September 17, Mr Saville will also face a Lismore Local Court hearing over two counts of larceny, attempt to stalk/ intimidate with intent to cause fear and two counts of entering a building with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The last of Mr Saville’s shoplifting charges will be mentioned in Lismore Local Court on September 30.
