Firefighters arrived to find a large shed fully engulfed in flames.

THERE was nothing firefighters could do to save a shed that was engulfed in flames, off the Warrego Highway.

POLICE are investigating a fire that destroyed an industrial shed in Charlton overnight.

Firefighters were called to the blaze about 10.30pm, on the Warrego Highway near the intersection with Nass Rd.

They arrived to find the 10x12m shed fully engulfed in flames.

Despite their efforts there was little the firefighters could do to save the structure.

Control of the scene was handed to the Toowoomba CIB detectives and their investigation is under way.
