Heavy rain has fallen across the Northern Rivers in the past few days, and the Bureau of Meteorology has predicted more to come.

BOM said many rivers on the NSW east coast can expect minor flooding, including those on the Northern Rivers.

Creeks are rising, cutting local roads quickly, and the SES is warning drivers to exercise caution after conducting a number of flood rescues overnight.
