DADDY of the Year, superhero dad, cute mile-high nap star are just some of the adjectives used by the international media to label Byron Shire's most popular resident, Chris Hemsworth.

The Hollywood actor and his wife Elsa Pataky always share snippets of her family life, and no matter how mundane or simple the photos are, the images always end up trending online.

There were no images of their family incursion to Bluesfest, but I saw the couple with their children entering the VIP area from the main sections of the festival on Easter Saturday.

The couple walked around the crowds but rushed to the VIP area (and presumably out of the festival) just in time before the rain hit Tyagarah Lakes.

This time, is yet another terribly cute but rather regular image of Hemsworth napping with two of his children on a plane.

Posted on Thursday evening (Eastern Australian time), the image gathered 64,000 likes in Instagram in 17 hours.

The image is also trending on Facebook.

"Nothing better than sleeping in papa's arms!" posted Spanish actress Elsa Pataky in the photo's caption, in both Spanish and English.

Interestingly, she tagged Hemsworth and the Spanish edition of Glamour magazine.

OK, so every father in the world has done the very same thing, right? Pass out of exhaustion after a number of hours dealing with three children inside a plain.

Is it particularly cute and special because it's Chris Hemsworth? Computer says yes.

Last month, Elsa Pataky's image of Hemsworth baking a cake for one of their daughter's birthday also made headlines.

Besides whether the image is news-worthy or not, I am positively happy that a local resident (despite his Hollywood royalty status) breaks the internet by being a a loving partner and father.

We all know celebrities are normally causing headlines for all the wrong reasons.
