NSW U18 hockey champs: How to stream and catch all the action

Every game livestreamed from NSW U18 Hockey Championships, starting Friday in Goonellabah.

Under 18s hockey teams across NSW will face off against the top regional age division champions this weekend, and The Northern Star will bring you all the action live.

The NSW U18 Hockey Championship runs over three days, starting Friday, and will be live streamed from the via The Daily Telegraph website.

This year the championships are being hosted by the Far North Coast Hockey Association at the Goonellabah Turf Complex and Ballina Hockey & Turf Complex.

Local team Far North Coast Hockey U18s girls team will be among the 29 teams competing over the May 21-23 event.

The teams will battle it out for top recognition across the state, said Hockey NSW Pathways Manager Richard Willis.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for players to represent their associations. A lot are very passionate about that,’’ Mr Willis said.

“It’s the start of the process to win a gold medal next year.

“It’s here we identify new names for the NSW squads. Up to 50 athletes who are eligible for the next Australian championships in early 2022.’’
