New City Centre Manager a home-grown local

Lismore City Council has appointed a new City Centre Manager – Lismore local Renee Moehead.

LISMORE City Council has appointed a new City Centre Manager, Lismore local Renee Moehead.

Renee has worked at the Opera House for the last decade managing major events such as Janet Jackson, Australia's Next Top Model and Oprah while also organising events internationally, most recently for the Arab Games in Qatar.

The former Trinity and St John's College Woodlawn student (she was among the first girls to graduate from Year 12 at Woodlawn) said she's thrilled to be coming home and is very excited about the scope of the City Centre Manager job.

"Obviously being from the region my family is still there and after 10 years at the Opera House it was time for a change.

I felt it was time to go back to the country and bring my knowledge and experience from Sydney and all over the world back to my home town," Renee said.

Renee will start as City Centre Manage on February 18.
