WITH three new faces on Lismore City Council, a meet-and-greet morning tea at the Lismore show this Thursday morning could be the best way to get aquainted.

Morning tea with the Councillors will take place at The North Coast National at 10.30am this Thursday with refreshments in the council's display area opposite the Lismore Showground's main gate.

You can ask questions, have a friendly chat and generally get to know your elected representatives a little better in a friendly and informal setting.

"This is a great opportunity to put a human face to your local politicians and talk to them about issues that concern you, ideas you have or even just what the weather's like," said the council's general manager Gary Murphy.

"The Councillors are all very approachable and this is a relaxed way to meet them face-to-face."

There are three new faces on Council - Greg Bennett, Mathew Scheibel and Glenys Ritchie. Re-elected Councillors are Jenny Dowell, Isaac Smith, Ray Houston, Neil Marks, Graham Meineke, Simon Clough, Vanessa Ekins and Gianpiero Battista.
