A man who was missing from Cudgen, south of Tweed Heads, has been located.
Update, Monday, 5.15pm: A man reported missing from the Far North Coast has been located safe and well.
The 57-year-old man was last seen at his care home on Cudgen Road, Cudgen, about 10pm on and reported missing to Officers from Tweed Byron Police District on Sunday, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries, the man returned to the care home just after 4.30pm on Monday and will be checked over by NSW Ambulance as a precaution.
Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.

He was reported missing to officers from Tweed Byron Police District on Sunday, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Police and family are concerned for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition that requires frequent treatment.
Mark is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of a large build, with a fair complexion, grey hair, beard and green eyes. He uses a wheelchair and walking frame for mobility, however these were left behind.
