A teenage boy and a teenage girl have been flown to hospital suffering serious injuries after their car overturned and ended up in a paddock near Casino on the North Coast.

A teenage boy and a teenage girl have been taken to hospital suffering serious head and facial injuries after their car rolled and ended up in a paddock near Casino.
Emergency services including Richmond Police District were called to Reynolds Lane, about 12 kilometres north of Casino, about 9pm on Saturday after the car crashed at Backmede.
The boy and the teenage driver were trapped in the vehicle for a time.
Casino Rescue Squad of the VRA assisted NSW Ambulance with a “difficult and technical” rescue to safely free the occupants from the mangled wreck.
The girl was treated for head and pelvic injuries, according to authorities.
She was stabilised by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter critical care team and flown to the Gold Coast University hospital in a serious condition.
The male passenger was treated for facial injuries on scene and taken to Lismore Regional Airport, before being flown to Gold Coast University hospital in a serious condition.
Fairy Hill Station Rd remained closed between the railway crossing and Backmede Rd until Sunday morning.
Police set up a crime scene and investigations were ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.
