A man in his 70s has been badly injured in a farming accident believed to have involved a bull in the state’s Northern Tablelands.
Emergency services were called to a property on Darthula Road at Mole River, about 40 kilometres west of Tenterfield, after reports of a workplace incident about 8.15am on Sunday.
The Mingoola man, 73, was injured by a bull, it’s understood, but more information has been sought from authorities.
The man suffering a serious head injury, among other injuries, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s critical care medical team.
He was stabilised and flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
NSW Police officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol also attended
Police made inquiries and referred the incident to SafeWork NSW.
