Man flown to hospital with serious chest and shoulder injuries after motorbike crash in Northern NSW
Paramedics took the man to a local airfield where they met the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter team before he was flown to a Gold Coast hospital.

A man has been flown to a Queensland hospital with serious injuries after a motorbike crash near the Queensland border.
The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to reports of a man who had fallen from a motorbike at Numinbah, west of Murwillumbah shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday.
“It was reported that the male was suffering from serious injuries,” the helicopter service said in a statement.
“Local Ambulance Paramedics attended the location and commenced treatment a 40-year-old male suffering from chest and shoulder injuries.”
The man was transported by road to the Murwillumbah Airfield, where paramedics were met by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and its Critical Care Medical Team.
The man was stabilised by the critical care team before being flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
At that time the man was in a stable condition, with serious chest and shoulder injuries.
