Lismore tip to close early for new weighbridge

LISMORE tip will close early on two days later this month so a second weighbridge can be installed.
Lismore City Council posted about the closure on its Facebook page.
"In order to complete construction of the second weighbridge at the Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre, we are closing the facility from 1pm on April 21 and 22," the council posted.
"We need to construct the roof cover, and this requires a crane to lift the beams into place.
"It is too dangerous to do this and keep the weighbridge open.
"This is the final step in creating our second weighbridge and we appreciate your patience."
