An unused set of office buildings could get the facelift of their dreams if a new development application gets approval.
A set of office rooms in the Lismore CBD have been proposed for a ‘change of use’ application to a former accountants, transforming them into five beautician treatment rooms.
The 152 Molesworth St development application was submitted on behalf of Tracy Cook, Ms Bobbie Thompson and Ms Jennifer Rose.
According to the application, the renovated premises will include a variety of beauty treatments including dermal therapy and skin rejuvenation, LED phototherapy treatments, IPL hair removal, tattoo removal services, cosmetic injections, nail technician, microdermabrasion and facial treatments, eyelash extension and brow lamination, general beauty services and more.
The development stated their would be five employees working in the spot and revamps to the spot are estimated to cost $15,0000.
It is expected the business, if approved, could be open 9am-5pm on Monday — Friday, and 9am-12pm on Saturday.
It comes as part of a major revamp to the Lismore town centre, with possible housing options and a fishmonger both setting up promising applications for a CBD revitalisation.
