A Casino ice supplier will dispute the quantity of drugs dealt in his at-home operation, a court has heard.
James Andrew Doherty, 40, was mentioned before Lismore Local Court on Monday (August 29) over a range of drug supply charges.
Police will allege $13,350 worth of drug dealing proceeds were found on Doherty during an April 5 search of his Johnston St home, according to court facts.
They will further allege a Subaru Liberty and about $1000 were further proof of his operation during an August 2 search.
His solicitor Paul Smart entered pleas of guilty on Doherty’s behalf to possessing 72g of cannabis, possessing and supplying 19g gross weight of methamphetamine, possessing 17g of cocaine, dealing with the proceeds of crime and knowingly allowing his premises to be used as drug premises.
A not guilty plea to supplying the 17g of cocaine was also entered.
These charges stem from a spate of alleged Casino offending dated back to April 5 this year, according to court documents.
Mr Smart said the weight of the methamphetamine supply and the weight of the cocaine possession charge was an issue, despite the plea.
A dispute in relation to the amount of money was also mentioned.
Mr Smart asked further charges dated back to August 2, including dealing with proceeds of crime equal to $1000, two counts of dealing with proceeds of crime to an amount less than $100,000, and possessing and supplying 64g of methamphetamine be adjourned.
Mr Smart said the date was to decide if the Director of Public Prosecutions wanted to take carriage of the matter.
Those matters were adjourned to September 27 for mention and an October 4 adjournment was made to fix a hearing date for the not guilty charge.
Doherty was not required to appear via videolink.
