“Once in a lifetime”: This waterfront Northern Rivers property is from a bygone era, and it’s now up for sale by expressions of interest.

This property at 44A Ocean Drive, Evans Head, is on the market.

In its past life, this property on Ocean Drive at Evans Head serviced the local prawning industry.

Boats up to 60ft long were pulled from the water at this site so they could repaired and put back in the river.

The slipway has since been decommissioned, but this 1196sqm block still has deepwater frontage and the sale represents a “once in a lifetime” opportunity, according to marketing agent Brody Aleckson from Elders Real Estate Evans Head.

It’s being sold by expressions of interest, closing on Monday, July 12, and there will be no open homes.

Inspections are only taking place by private appointments.

The site once had a slipway for repairs to prawn boats.
