One of Goonellabah’s quirkiest properties is on the market for the first time.

The windmill-style teahouse, in Blue Hills Ave, is situated on 10ha of prime land and was built in 1979, according to CoreLogic.

Listing agent Gary Ghilardi from Wal Murray & Co First National Lismore said the property was built by a Dutch couple and “was the place to be seen back in the 80s”.

“With a full operating kitchen, two utility rooms with built-in storage, a large timber loft with toilet and basin, along with separate men’s and women’s toilets, shower and access through to the in-ground saltwater pool, it’s a prime location for gatherings and events,” the online listing states.

“The separate five-bedroom residence has a large open living area flowing through to a full timber kitchen and separate dining area.

“Storage is no issue with two 9m x 6m sheds, both with power and a connecting 9m enclosure with three-bay parking connecting the two sheds.

Mr Ghilardi said there was subdivision potential for four 2500m2 blocks, and the owners would consider selling the 1.21ha section as a separate sale.
