Farmers are having a good season and are looking to invest in new equipment.

That’s the word from manufacturers, importers and agents for farm gear at Casino Primex this year.

On the opening day of the event on Thursday, exhibitors appeared to be doing brisk business, dealing with inquiries and happily taking orders.

Jodie and Allen Morgan said macadamia farmers were showing interest in their Monchiero 20115 Macadamia Harvester.

“The $200,000 price tag is great value when you realise the return on investment and the valuable crop you are harvesting,” she said.”

“We are delighted with all the inquiries we have had and it’s great to be here and support the local agricultural industry and community.”

At Mower World Commercial, general manager Simon Massey was assisted by his son Cooper aged 10.

Mr Massey said the Toro range was attracting a lot of interest from people managing sporting surfaces such as golf clubs, councils and sporting ground owners.

“We have had a lot of interest,” Mr Massey said.
