Early morning car fire on the Bruxner Highway to be investigated
A senior firefighter said a crew was called out to extinguish a car fire on the Bruxner Hwy around 6am, but the cause of the incident is yet to be determined.

Firefighters were called out around 5am on Monday to extinguish a car fire in South Lismore.
A spokesman from Fire and Rescue Lismore said they were on scene shortly after being alerted to the incident.
“Lismore Alpha pumper and crew were at the car fire which occurred outside the Bolt Barn on the Bruxner Highway in South Lismore,” he said.
“It was a small blue car and fully on fire when we arrived.
“As far as we know, no-one was injured.”
The spokesman said at this stage firefighters were unsure of how the car fire was ignited.
“The cause of the fire is still under investigation,” he said.
It is understood that police are investigating the incident.
Ambulance NSW confirmed they were not tasked to attend.
