AUSTRALIA Post has confirmed a development application for rebuilding Rock Valley post office has been lodged with Lismore City Council.
The tiny building was destroyed by a fire in September.
A spokeswoman said a number of quotations for the rebuilding were being submitted to the Rock Valley Community Hall committee for consideration.
She also confirmed the closing time of the temporary post office in the Rock Valley Community Hall has been extended from 5pm to 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to make it easier for post box holders to collect their mail.
