Car fire outside LPG business
Emergency services were called to a car fire which was situated outside a business which supplies liquefied petroleum gas.

Quick work by emergency services early on Sunday morning saw a vehicle fire extinguished before it culd spread to a business which supplied liquefied petroleum gas.
Fire and Rescue Lismore Station Officer Dave Mooney said they were alerted shortly before 4am on Sunday 15 August, 2021.
“At 3.55am firefighters were called to the incident out the front of the gasworks in Keen St, south of Ballina Rd Lismore” he said/
“Our Alpha pumper crew attended and extinguished the fire and were back at the station by 4.21am.”
Mr Mooney said the vehicle on fire was parked out the front of business which he said supplied LPG to a number of key Lismore organisations.
It is understood that the vehicle fire is being investigated by police.
