"We are looking to fill casual positions for wait staff, bar staff and kitchen staff for the reopening of the new fun George Banks (same owner; new manager)," the Facebook post read.

"Flexibility greatly valued and ability to work weekends a must.

"Industry experience preferred but relaxed, outgoing personality essential and training provided."

Back in May, a post on the George Banks Facebook page teased a reinvention of the popular bar.

"What is even better is what lays in store when we reopen - some really exciting new post-Covid opportunities now exist and we cannot wait to show them to you all," the post read.

"Hope all are well and ready for a new fresh George Banks."
