First Step Early Learning director Sarah Ruttley says she and her team are proud to have joined 15 other childcare centres that are exceeding industry standards in the Lismore, Casino and Kyogle areas.

There are 55 centres in the region altogether that have been rated by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.

Centres are rated as excellent, exceeding standard, meeting standard, working towards standard and significant improvement required.

Ms Ruttley said her team was proud to have been ranked as exceeding standard having previously been in the meeting standard category.
