A Ballina man who supplied hundreds of grams of cocaine in a coastal town on the North Coast has avoided prison.
Connor Walshe, 29, pleaded guilty to supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
He faced Magistrate Kathy Crittenden in Lismore Local Court on Tuesday.
Walshe supplied 336g of cocaine in the town between June 1, 2021 and October 14, 2022, the court was told.
Walshe was arrested with $14,300 on him on March 8, which police deemed the proceeds of cocaine dealing.
Negotiations between Walshe’s lawyers and the prosecution resulted in five charges in total of supplying cocaine and dealing with the proceeds of crime being dropped.
Ms Crittenden convicted Walshe and sentenced him to a 12-month intensive correction order.
He was ordered to perform 150 hours of community service work and undergo drug rehabilitation and mental health treatment.
