Lawyers called in over ‘infamous Greece trip’ incident involving Nic Stavropoulos
It should have been a fun-filled trip to Greece for parents and students of posh eastern suburbs school Kambala. Instead it spawned a five-year saga that continues to drag on.

This just might be the longest-running high society stoush we’re ever heard of.
Five years after what’s been dubbed by the eastern suburbs set as “the infamous 2018 Greece trip”, Saturday Confidential can reveal it’s still going, with both parties recently returning to Greece for legal discussions.
It all began in 2018 with what was meant to be a fun-filled getaway between Kambala parents and their kids.
It became memorable for all the wrong reasons.
An incident took place at a Mykonos day club involving Nic Stavropoulos and another holiday-maker, a well-known fashion personality who Saturday Confidential has chosen not to name.
Now Confidential can reveal both parties have jetted to Greece in recent weeks to engage lawyers.
We hear that nothing was resolved.
“It beggars believe this is still going on,” one insider said. “I’d say someone has too much money and time on their hands.
“The whole thing ended up being futile anyway because nothing could be proven.”
Back in 2018, the messy stoush resulted in legal threats, bodyguards, heated exchanges and members of the wealthy Kambala set — who pay as much as $50,000 a year in tuition fees for their kids — forced to pick a side.
The Stavropouloses have kept their heads down since Saturday Confidential reported news of wife Litsa’s no-expense spared 50th birthday, despite Nic’s company Excite Travel collapsing in 2020 owing more than $35m to creditors.
Litsa has disabled her Instagram a number of times in recent months, often only returning to post memes about life.
