KIIS FM host Jackie O’s former house on display ahead of auction
KIIS FM radio host Jackie O split from her husband in 2018 but the house they shared in Vaucluse — set for auction this month — was a drawcard for sticky beaks who wanted to take a look inside her $6.5 million home during an open house inspection.

It is hard-rubbish collection time in Vaucluse but there was no trash in front of radio host Jackie O Henderson’s matrimonial home.
Inspectees queued out to the footpath with more than 200 going through the immaculate home that’s been listed with a $6.5 million price guide ahead of its March 31 auction.
The Bondi Beach-based Jackie vacated the home when she separated from her husband, photographer Lee Henderson, in 2018.
Marketing images show the master bedroom walk-in still holds some of her clothes, a half empty rack of shoes and jewellery along with Hermes and Chanel shopping bags. There is also a 2010 Cosmopolitan women of the year statue.
Jackie was nowhere to be seen ahead of the first open of the five-bedroom home.
Meanwhile, a shirtless Lee was going about some last-minute leaf blowing before he headed off to allow Ray White estate agent Gavin Rubinstein to take the names of the inspectees, mostly sticky beaks.
The couple, who were married for 15 years, transformed the home after she bought it for $2.7 million in 2012.
The purchase was followed by $780,000 in alterations and additions including a pool. There is now 350sq m of internal space.
However “$7 million is a bit rich considering it doesn’t have a garage,” one inspectee told his wife on departing.
Jackie O told The Kyle & Jackie O listeners that she was “sad to let go because it is such a lovely home”.
They will both end up in the same area, she advised an inquisitive Kyle Sandilands, possibly in a duplex.
GUTHERSON BUYS A RENO PROJECT
Parramatta Eels captain Clint Gutherson is set to be busy off the field over the upcoming NRL season.
The star fullback has spent $1,875,000 on a renovation project in Collaroy Plateau, about a kilometre back from the beach.

Packer home to go under the hammer
Gutherson, who was born in nearby Mona Vale, hasn’t lodge any paperwork yet to knock down the 1950s home, but I don’t expect him to keep the duck-egg blue bathroom with deep cast-iron bath.
There would be ocean views from any second level at the property, marketed as a blank canvas on its 620sq m by RE/MAX agents Nick Scarf and Jason Martin, who secured the
pre-auction sale.
The current home has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a sun room and a two-car garage.
Gutherson will be presumably keeping tabs on the project from his nearby abode.
The median house price in Collaroy Plateau is $1.7 million, according to realestate.com.au figures.
BARBER TO TRIM DOWN PORTFOLIO
Having emerged as the buyer of the Lilyfield warehouse conversion of comedian Merrick Watts, renovation queen Cherie Barber is trimming her real estate portfolio.
The Renovating for Profit founder has listed two of her renovated western Sydney investment properties.
She’s seeking $859,000 to $899,000 for one of her Colyton investments, now complete with granny flat, that she paid $580,000 for in 2016.
On the 845sq m is a renovated three-bedroom home which came with a $495 weekly asking rental and a newly-built separate granny flat with two bedrooms which had a $400 a week ask.
Property Central Penrith agent Sharon McMaster has the listing. Barber has also listed another Colyton investment with a granny flat.
The main residence has four bedrooms and a new kitchen and bathrooms. The granny flat has two bedrooms and a private entry.
Having sold on the Birchgrove waterfront, she’s just paid $6 million plus for the 1920s inner west warehouse conversion that won two RAIA Awards following its 2012 completion. It was once the Oh Boy Candy premises.
JESS FAREWELLS PALCE AT PADDO
Russh fashion magazine editor-in-chief Jess Blanch and her husband, financial adviser Marty Switzer, sold their redundant Paddington home this week, having moved to Centennial Park last year.
Blanch and Switzer, a director of the Switzer Financial Group, paid $4.43 million for a restored 1910 Federation semi.
They’ve taken advantage of the booming market, as they had first tried to find a buyer in late 2018. It had $2.8 million plus hopes.
They had paid $1.1 million for the four-bedroom Jersey Rd terrace in 2002. Will Manning at McGrath’s Double Bay office secured the sale in conjunction with Ballard Property Group.
Jersey Rd has also seen the departure of stylist Jess Pecoraro and husband Steven Monaco, who have sold their 1890s terrace for $3.1 million off-market. They had paid $2.5 million for the three-bedroom terrace with courtyard in May 2018.
