High society couple Charlie and Ellie Aitken face off outside family home

Charlie Aitken has moved his clothes out of the family home on Sunday during a tense exchange with wife Ellie, who has denied having an affair with Russell Crowe.

Former Sydney power couple Charlie and Ellie Aitken faced off outside their family home in Bondi on Sunday, following their recent split.

Tensions were high as the funds manager moved his belongings out of the property the pair once shared and into his luxury car while his estranged wife watched on.

At one point, a furious Ms Aitken wagged her finger and glared at her husband of almost 20 years as he stormed off during the heated exchange.

Two days prior, the pair appeared to be on better terms at their young son’s rugby game, where they posed for a happy family photo which Ms Aitken shared on Instagram.

However hopes for an amicable split were scuppered on Sunday as a fierce argument erupted between the pair and Mr. Aitken was banished from the home with his clothes.

Earlier on Sunday, Ms Aitken took to social media to deny bombshell claims of a two-year affair with Hollywood actor Russell Crowe made by her former best friend Hollie Nasser.

The mergers and acquisitions lawyer posted then deleted a screenshot of her text conversation with Ms Nasser who is now dating Mr. Aitken.

“Ellie there’s no point in us talking anymore. I can’t believe after a 2 year affair with Russell Crowe ... you are out there playing the victim and saying I ruined your perfect marriage,” Nasser wrote.

The heated exchange came two days after the pair put on a united front at their son’s rugby game.

“Yes of course putting Will on your public Instagram was going in the paper, you knew that when you posted it. Charlie was not at my house last night and I’ve got mum staying here. I’ve had photographers here since Friday and still here now surrounding my house I’m not that dumb. He dropped me outside my house on Friday and that’s it, I know he’s staying at ******* (location deleted for privacy)”.

Ms Aitken replied: “Darling I was watching him there with the white plantation shutters behind which we photographed on FaceTime and he told me he was there having pizza. And no I didn’t have a two-year affair, don’t try to deflect.”

She added “Stop lying and bullying me @hollie.nasser• Enough.”

Hollie and Chris Nasser were married for five years and she has now moved on with Mr Aitken.

Mr Aitken recently moved into a serviced apartment in Bondi Junction with Ms Nasser, who is the wife of his business partner, Chris Nasser.

One insider claimed Ms Nasser “always wanted Ellie’s life” and had an affair with Mr. Aitken for five months.

“Hollie would borrow Ellie’s clothes and then go on dates with Charlie. It’s all very ‘Single White Female’,” the source said.

Ms Nasser, 36, denied borrowing clothes from the mother-of-two.

“I wear my own clothes, Ellie and I do not wear the same clothing size,” she sniped.

Last month, police took out an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order against Mr. Nasser on behalf of his estranged wife of five years.

In a statement, Mr Nasser confirmed that the proceedings would be defended.

“After being deeply hurt by the deception, choices and actions of other adult parties, I am disturbed that those actions have been followed by manufactured and dishonest claims now being made about me,” he said.

“I categorically deny the allegations. They are totally baseless. It is disappointing that others are choosing to make a horrible situation for me and my children, even worse.”

Ms Aitken has resigned from her post as executive director of the couple’s investment business, Aitken Investment Management, but remains a director.

Mr Nasser also recently resigned from his position as a director at AIM.

Mr Aitken, 48, is the son of Perpetual Bank investment legend John Aitken and a former stockbroker.

Ms Aitken, 42, is a mergers and acquisitions lawyer who dabbled in fashion design before joining her husband at the family funds business.

The ex couple share two children together.
