Busy two days for helicopter for medical missions leads to man being taken to Lismore Hospital

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on Tuesday afternoon a motorcycle accident at Tyringham north east of Ebor.
A 38 year old male had fallen from the bike on a property, and suffered a broken leg in the incident.
He was treated on the scene by the helicopter medical team and was flown to Lismore Base Hospital.
The man was reported to be in a stable condition.
It continued a busy run of medical missions for the helicopter, as it was required to take a 53-year-old woman suffering a medical condition to Lismore Base Hospital on Monday afternoon.
She was reported in a stable condition.
Earlier that day, the helicopter conducted two missions from Lismore Hospital to the Gold Coast.
It was first tasked by NSW Ambulance at Monday afternoon to carry out an urgent medical transfer from Lismore Hospital to Tweed Heads Hospital with a 27yo male patient suffering a serious medical condition.
On the return to base the crew were immediately re-tasked to carry out a second medical transfer of a 54-year-old male patient suffering a serious cardiac condition from Lismore Hospital to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Both patients were stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to being flown to the respective hospitals in a stable condition for further specialist medical treatment.
