IT'S impossible not to have fun, as St Vincent de Paul Grafton Centre president Pauline Grant found out this week.
Pauline, along with other representatives from the organisation, received the proceeds of the recent Grafton Santa Crawl from organisers Adam Crawley and Angus McKimm.
This year, the Santa Crawl - held at local pubs in Grafton and culminating in a night-time event at the Clarence River Jockey Club - raised $10,945.65 for the charity.
The proceeds of the annual celebration have always gone to the Grafton St Vincent de Paul, and have raised more than $50,000 that goes straight back to the community.
Executive officer of the Lismore Central Council, Michael Timbrell, said the funding was a massive boost for them, and the money raised here stayed to help people in the Grafton area.
"All of our funding from the area comes from the proceeds of our shop and also donations from the community," Mr Timbrell said.
"So this donation allows us to continue helping disadvantaged people in the Grafton area with such things as utility assistance and food vouchers. We just really wanted to thank the organising committee, and everyone who attended for such a great donation."
