Search related to a coronial investigation looking for further evidence

Police and SES volunteers searched over an area near Whiteman Creek Wednesday in the search for further evidence regarding a man whose body was found in the area last year.

Rohan Lloyd, aged 37, was last seen in the township of Kyogle, about 11am on Thursday August 13.

A Coffs/Clarence police spokeswoman confirmed the small group were there at the direction of the coroner in the ongoing inquest to his death.

An extensive search was carried out, and a Polair helicopter following directions from mobile phone triangulation led to his car, a white Hyundai Getz was found on September 2.

After the official search was called off, his family members continued the search finding his body on September 13.

The coronial investigation continues.
