Dramatic images have emerged of the salvage and recovery of a truck that rolled near Halfway Creek.
Emergency services, including police, Fire Rescue NSW and NSW RFS and SES were called from as far away as Sawtell to deal with the wreckage.
The incident caused the lanes to be closed for much of Tuesday as the recovery took place.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 10.50pm Monday, where the truck, trailer and its freight were blocking the southbound lanes.
The driver of the truck was trapped inside the cabin before being freed by firefighters.
He was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital suffering minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and urge anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact Coffs Harbour police station or Crimestoppers.
Alternative stop/slow conditions are still in place at the site, and motorists are urged to slow down and allow extra time through the area.
