Police after clues about man waking up with no clothes

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Grafton's See Park last weekend.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Grafton last weekend.

About 10pm (Sunday 2 February 2014), a 62-year-old man was walking through See Park near Pound Street, when he was pushed from behind.

He fell to the ground, knocking his head and becoming unconscious.

A short time later the man woke up to find his clothes and mobile phone had been stolen.

The man attended Grafton Hospital for treatment to his injuries, of grazes and bruises to his forehead, legs and arms.

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command were informed and commenced an investigation into the incident.

Investigators are now appealing for anyone that may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour, to contact Grafton Detectives on 6642 0222 or Crime Stoppers.
