Nymboida burns victim flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital
A man has suffered burns and had to be flown to hospital after an incident while lighting an outdoor fire in the Clarence Valley. Here’s what we know so far.

A man in his 20s has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after suffering burns to his arms and chest at Nymboida.
Emergency crews were called to Laytons Range Road before 2pm on Wednesday.
They had received reports the man was injured while lighting an outdoor fire.
He was flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
