Man stabbed at Pound Street, Grafton, later found at hospital

Emergency services were called to a residential street in Grafton following reports a man had been stabbed.

At around 1.20am on Friday, February 4, emergency services were called to Pound Street at Grafton, following reports a man had been stabbed.

The injured man, aged 33, was located by police at Grafton Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition, suffering stab wounds to his torso.

Officers from the Coffs/Clarence Police District have established a crime scene at Pound Street, which will be forensically examined by specialist police.

An investigation is currently underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
