CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS
School children 12 years and over must wear a mask on any form of public transport, including the school bus. The Department of Education recommends masks for all students in Year 7 and above as well as all staff and teachers. Click here for more information.
Due to a rise in cases, the following restrictions are in place for NSW, including the Clarence Valley region:
- People who have been in the Greater Sydney region (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong) on or after June 21 should follow the stay-at-home orders for a period of 14 days after they left Greater Sydney.
- Visitors to households are limited to 5 guests – including children;
- Masks are compulsory in all indoor non-residential settings, including workplaces, and at organised outdoor events;
- Drinking while standing at indoor venues not allowed;
- Singing by audiences and choirs at indoor venues or by congregants at indoor places of worship not allowed;
- Dancing not be allowed at indoor hospitality venues or nightclubs. However, dancing is allowed at weddings for the wedding party only (no more than 20 people);
- Dance and gym classes limited to 20 per class (masks must be worn);
- The one person per four square metre rule reintroduced for all indoor and outdoor settings, including weddings and funerals;
- Outdoor seated, ticketed events limited to 50 per cent seated capacity.

FUNERAL NOTICES
Nola Nicholas
Formerly of Sydney, late of Grafton, passed away on July 4, 2021 aged 91 years. Family and friends are invited to attend Nola’s funeral service to be held at Salvation Army Citadel, Oliver Street, Grafton, on Monday, July 12 at 1pm.
Jason Lee Trudgian
Formerly of Rochedale, Brisbane, late of Grafton, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2021 aged 48 years. A memorial service for Jason will be announced at a later date due to the current Covid restrictions.
Denny John Brown
Formerly of Yamba, late of Sydney, passed away on July 2, 2021 aged 40 years. A service of farewell is to be held at the Raymond Laurie Sports Fields, Yamba, on Wednesday, July 14 at 11am.
