During business hours, Ashkan Rafiq, 42, and Alli Atmar, 29, were IT consultants at GlobalX in Sydney’s CBD but last year they were ducking away from their desks at 1 Castlereagh St to deal cocaine.

The deals — ranging from one to three bags of cocaine at time — were carried out in the office high rise, at Curtin Place and other inner-city locations between September and December last year, court documents reveal.

Rafiq stated he had a before-7pm policy as after that “people are too pissed and they become a punish”.

During one text exchange, the men discussed their potential earnings with Rafiq remarking: “dude you’ll be getting a Rolex every week!”

Redfern Region Enforcement Squad officers arrested Rafiq and Atmar at a wine bar on December 1 last year.

Rafiq and Atmar were both sentenced to four years’ jail on Friday.
