Unemployed Haochar, from Dundas Valley, was arrested at Ryde police station by officers from Strike Force Raptor while he was reporting for bail on Tuesday.
He was charged with four counts of publish indecent article.
Strict bail conditions were imposed on Haochar at Burwood court yesterday, including stopping him from entering Mr Ibrahim’s Dover Heights home or going within a kilometre of it.
Raptor detectives began an investigation into Haochar after becoming aware of several posts on social media, which allegedly incited violence.
One post allegedly made by Haochar showed an image of a firearm being pointed at the head of Bilal Hamzy, the brother of convicted killer and Brothers 4 Life founder Bassam Hamzy, and boxer Danny Green.
Haochar featured in a video posted to social media last Saturday where he is seen outside Mr Ibrahim’s Dover Heights.
He rings the doorbell several times before Mr Ibrahim calmly walks out and tries turning Haochar away.
“John, Habib, it’s me, Butch,” he shouts before walking over to ring the doorbell.
“Let’s see if he answers … come on, John. He’s not answering, f … Come on, John, answer it’s me.”
The recording stops once Mr Ibrahim finally comes outside to the door where Haochar attempts to shake his hand but is turned down.
Haochar can be seen waving his arms at Ibrahim before he eventually leaves.
Michael Ayache, Haochar’s lawyer, said his client should be granted bail because the posts “were not threatening”.
“It certainly doesn’t have the connotation of intimidation or violence because he interacts with John,” he said.
It was also alleged that Haochar posted on his Facebook page that he was demanding $3 million from Mr Ibrahim, of which $500,000 was for his “cuzin”.
Haochar was also ordered not to be in contact with John Ibrahim, Bilal Hamzy, Bassam Hamzy, and Danny Green or publish any social media posts about them.
Haochar will also not be able to publish any public social media posts containing an image or representation of any weapon.
Haochar also has “execution”, “187” and a grenade inked across his forehead and King Kong tattooed on his knuckles.
Outside Burwood court just after midday, he said, “I’m hungry,” and added that he had only “eaten two Big Mac meals” since Wednesday while in police custody.
He will face Burwood court later this month.
