Cooma Correctional Centre in NSW, where Jarryd Hayne is serving his sentence, was built in the 1870s and still stands today. See the exclusive pictures of what it looks like inside.

Former footballer Jarryd Hayne is serving out his sentence at Cooma Correctional Centre, a prison which has been home to other well known identities like former Labor MP Eddie Obeid and former Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer.

But there is nothing five-star about the jail, which was built in the 1870s in the state’s south and is considered one of the oldest prisons in Australia.
