CHANNEL Nine’s pregnant Footy Show star Erin Molan has collapsed at work and been rushed to hospital by ambulance.
Returning from Canberra on Friday, where she joined her father Jim Molan for his induction into the Senate, Molan became ill at Channel Nine studios.
According to staff, she collapsed and hit her head on the ground.
An ambulance took Molan to Royal North Shore Hospital where tests revealed a low blood sugar count caused her to faint.
There was a suggestion she had skipped breakfast in the rush to get a flight home out of Canberra.
Scans revealed her baby, which is due in July, was perfectly healthy.
Molan declined to comment when contacted by The Sunday Telegraph.
Her fiance, police officer Sean Ogilvy, rushed to her hospital bedside when informed of the fall.
Molan did not appear in her regular Saturday afternoon sports show on 2GB yesterday.
She has also been off social media. With the Footy Show to start soon, Channel Nine executives are closely monitoring her workload.

She takes over from long-time host Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin in the Footy Show role in three weeks, in the lead-up to the new season.
“Erin works across all our platforms in news, sport, entertainment and lifestyle,” said director of sport Tom Malone,
“She’s got this unbelievable work ethic and also does a lot of charity stuff.
“Still her health and the baby is our No. 1 priority. Whatever steps need to be taken, if it means slowing down, we’ll ensure that happens. We’ll keep an eye on it.”
Nine is already planning the show around the birth of her baby in July.
CEO Hugh Marks has told her to take as much maternity leave as she wants.
The 34-year-old recently revealed on social media she had been suffering from severe morning sickness.
“I am sick every single day,” she wrote.
“I often have to run out of the hair and make-up room multiple times unwell. Twice — once at radio and once at TV — I have been likened to a ‘walking corpse’.”
